Filira

It constitutes the administrative center of the Municipality Arriana. Most of the residents of the village deal with tobacco production on which the economy depends. In the village there are several small businesses such as mini markets, cafes, butchers, fastfood, sales of agricultural equipment and repairers, carpenters, etc. Every Tuesday a street market takes place in the square of the village.
It is one of the lowland villages of the Municipality. In the village there are enough fertile fields. Near the village there are three tumuli, whereas it seems to exist remains of old Byzantine settlements.
The village is flat and has fertile and irrigated land. In the village there are some small businesses.
Initially, it was founded as a farm and then turned into a settlement and its inhabitants deal with agriculture.
It is one of the largest villages of the Municipality. Every year the religious celebration "Mevlit» takes place in the spring and there is strong participation from the surrounding villages. West of the village, 1 km away, there was a village called Agora and was inhabited until 1940, and then the inhabitants were settled in Dokos and Skiada. South of the village there is a closed sports stadium that was built with the assistance of the Region.
An old mountain settlement among the mountains. There are two water fountains from the Ottoman period. The inscription on the old fountain is comprehensible and refers to the 18th century. The date of the other inscription on the fountain, unfortunately, cannot be read.
It is located at the center of the mountainous region. In the courtyard of the mosque there is a genuine inscription.
The site of the old village is located 1 km to the west on a hill. Today it is possible to see the ruins of some buildings. The village was moved to its present location later. The stream runs through the village, just below the bridge. There is an arch bridge.
It is one of the largest and oldest villages. Many small businesses exist in this village. There is a branch of the Municipality and a health center.
The village is on the road to Organi. The village is an ideal place for excursions and walks in the nature.
It is a village in the mountains that tends to disappear. The architecture of the mosque is unique. The village has lots of stone buildings that are almost destroyed.
In this old settlement it is possible to find ancient monuments. The stone architecture dominates. East of the mountains there is a Byzantine cemetery. Also, east of the village next to the river there is a traditional watermill. 
The village is crossed by two tributaries and surrounded by a rich natural landscape. In this village there are vineyards.
The village is located among the mountains next to a river. There is an Ottoman bridge as well as the remains of a Byzantine Church from the 12th century. There was an oldest fenced area in the space where excavations took place.

It is located 0.5 km north of Filira. According to one myth, the village of Fillira was founded by Agriotes. The basic feature of the village is that a river runs through it.
It is a small mountainous village in which a few families live. There are some examples of traditional architecture.
