This year held in Kechros the three-day historical "Chilia" festival (Setsek). The festivities began Friday, July 31 and culminated Sunday, August 2 with the participation of many people and official guests. 

Also present were MP SYRIZA Pref. Rodopis, Mr. Ayhan Karagiousouf, SYRIZA Members  Ebro Mr. Dimitris Rizos and Ms. Anastasia Gara, the Deputy Head of IP Rodopi, Mr. Christos Metios, the Turkish Consul of Komotini Mr. Ali Riza Akinci, Mayor Arrianon Mr. Amet Ritvan and united the Municipal Authority of the Municipality, the prefect Edirne Mr. Ali Durmus, the Mayor of Edirne, Mr. Recep Gurkan, the Mufti of Edirne and many others. Aga of this year's festival was appointed Moumin Pourma. 

These events have a sports and cultural character and organized in order to promote and spread the sport of wrestling and his art. The sport of wrestling is very old ritual associated with the history of this place. It is connected with cultural culture of the area so it is revived for centuries from generation to generation.  

The reputation of fighting games have managed to escape the local boundaries of the Rhodopes and Thrace and hosted once again wrestlers and guests from various cities in Greece and neighboring Balkan countries such as Turkey and Bulgaria. Athletes fought and slap on oil to highlight the first wrestler of the year in the region. The event concluded with the award ceremony for the winners of the races on Sunday afternoon and participation of traditional dance and music groups in the region of Edirne.
