In Alan Tepe of Organi, near Kato Vyrsini, held this year the three-day festival wrestling Alan Tepe. The festivities began Friday, September 19 and culminating Sunday, September 21 with the participation of many people and vip guests.

Present were the representative of the Turkish consulate in Komotini Mr. Murad EDTA MP SYRIZA Pref. Rodopis, Mr. Ayhan Karagiousouf, the Thematic Antiperiferiarchis Finance. Mustafa Katrantzou, Mayor Arrianon Mr. Ritvan Amet and united the Municipal Authority of the Municipality, former Mayor Arrianon Ibrahim Serif, the elected Mufti of Rodopi Mr. Ibrahim Serif and many others. Aga of this year's festival was appointed Halil Ali.

These events have a sports and cultural character and organized in order to promote and spread the sport of wrestling and his art. The sport of wrestling is very old ritual associated with the history of this place. It is connected with cultural culture of the area so it is revived for centuries from generation to generation.

reputation of wrestling in our area have managed to escape the local boundaries of the Rhodopes and Thrace and hosted once again wrestlers and guests from various cities in Greece and neighboring Balkan countries. Athletes fought and slap on oil to highlight the first wrestler of the year in the region. The event concluded with the award ceremony for the winners of the races on Sunday afternoon and participation of traditional dance and music groups in the region.
